Understanding the Mind's Tricks and Spiritual Progress | Mind Your Mind | Art Of Mind Control l Mind Management Techniques | How to pay attention to your mind, the art of controlling your mind.

We have to understand the trick of the mind after every bhajan it will require some sense enjoyment you might think if the bhajan had an impact then why would the Mind ask for sense gratification actually because it had an effect that is why the mind is asking for it.

Because the mind is getting destroyed losing its strength and becoming anxious it needs some strength the strength in mind is enjoying sense objects or thinking about them by thinking of sense objects the mind gets stronger and enjoying them it gets impure it becomes more gross and that's how it traps you in the material nature.

If the Mind becomes weak pure and subtle it will get engaged in Divine pastimes so understand if the Mind becomes subtle well like a gross mind gets attracted to material nature a subtle mind will get attracted to parmatma if the mind is impure then will think about sense objects the material world and the likes and dislikes if the mind is pure then thinks of Radha Krishna thinks of the Lord is equipoised and being situated in spirituality experiences a piece of Purity.

That same mind becomes spiritual becomes Divine so when we do sadhna the Mind troubles us if at this point you see yourself separate from the mind you will win if the Mind wants sense enjoyment then think it is going to die let's not fulfill his demands and then it will die but the mind will trouble you a lot because you think the mind is you and for the one who tolerates God says one who tolerates the disturbance of the mind.

Can become eligible to attain God to become Eternal we are on the spiritual path so let's tolerate the beating of the mind is so terrible that one can accept a physical beating a trashing but will not accept the beating by the mind it is so terrible see if the Mind wants sense enjoyment and the intelligence says if you go there you'll get beaten up and you might end up in jail.

This is not good for us the mind will say I will tolerate everything but let me have that and the one who thinks he's a mind follows the advice of the mind but a devotee rejects the advice and says no I will not follow you I won't go now the agony the mind creates is more painful and poisonous.

Than any weapon one who tolerates it is legible to attain God said Guru we have to tolerate and if you decide that I have to tolerate then you will be able to tolerate and we will have to tolerate anyways if you think that yes this is good and you end up enjoying it and you think your mind will be peaceful but no now you will face two types of agones trishna re enjoying what you already did and to enjoy something new.

Now he will get trapped even more for a short time he felt peaceful but he did not understand that now he has to face his two agonies trishna to enjoy what he already did and kamna to enjoy something new that he has maybe seen of read about or heard of from other people that is kamna first he only had to deal with kamna now he has to deal with both trishna and kamna.

So because of kamna he had a food now which is a desire arises he decides to do it and then acts on it now both Krishna and kamna are defeating him therefore devotees should stop it right when the desire comes up if you don't stop it then there's a chance that you will resolve and do a sankalpa now.

You should try and stop it but it is very difficult at the sankalpa stage very difficult to stop only by God's mercy can help otherwise you may stop before your resolution but once you resolve then you will have to do the activity it is very difficult to stop at that point so be very careful now if you walk the path of spirituality.

Honestly then at first tastelessness arises before sweetness and anxiety and exasperation and if you decide to do sense enjoyment the mind will be enthused you have just decided to do it and the mind is filled with new enthusiasm but Ashley that is tasteless and this is sweet but this feeling taste in tastelessness and tastelessness in taste is what is called ignorance.

The path of God is blissful but you feel it to be miserable and the world which God says is to Callum full of Sorrow feels Blissful this is contrary thinking that which feels like poison at first will be Nectar at the end for example doing Bhajan every day reading the scriptures attending satsang having sense control living with restraint all these initially feel like poison but the result will be like nectar but sense and joy seems like pleasure right away you can touch it smell it right away.

So they say then and that which feels like happiness right away its result will be terrible like poison so a devote by his intelligence keeps an eye on the result before doing the activity he thinks about it and his sense enjoyer does not think about it so be thoughtful and to attract the mind to spirituality remove it from sense enjoyment and save it from these inside enticements that anguish will have to be tolerated.

Don't fall for the trick of the mind it will trap you badly and then you will regret what to do now what to do now this is how you think then you think I wish I had not done this just think during the lockdown you were forced to stay at home how did you feel now if you're jail for 20 years how would you feel feel no other punishment just jail for 20 years or 10 years the lockdown is only for 30, 40 days and even though you have all Comforts everybody.

Feels when will this finish and we can get our independence back if this is how you feel at home can you imagine if you're in jail and for a quick mistake you can end up in jail for many years you can be punished for many years and maybe even get the death penalty.

These are all tricks of the mind you fail because of the mind so just tolerate the anguish when you do not tolerate the anguish then you can end up in jail for 20 years or face other punishments but if you tolerate this Agony for a short time it will make you stronger your spiritual strength will increase but the secret is only known to those who have mercy of God by tolerating spiritual strength increases by enjoying spiritual strength diminishes and the strength of strength is spiritual strength.

The greatness of saints is because of spiritual strength the one who is imbued with spiritual strength is a Mahatma he's self-controlled he can benefit the whole world so do Lot of Bhajan. Thank you

FAQ: Understanding the Mind's Tricks and Spiritual Progress

Q: Why does my mind crave sense gratification even after engaging in spiritual practices like bhajan (devotional singing)?

Ans: The mind seeks sense enjoyment as a means to regain its strength and alleviate anxiety. When engaged in spiritual practices, the mind may resist the loss of its habitual tendencies, leading to cravings for familiar pleasures. It's important to recognize this pattern and address it with understanding and discipline.

Q: How can I redirect my mind towards spiritual pursuits and away from sense enjoyment?

Ans: By cultivating purity and subtlety in the mind, one can shift its focus from material desires to divine contemplation. This transformation occurs through consistent sadhana (spiritual practice), satsang (spiritual discourse), and detachment from worldly temptations.

Q: What happens if I give in to the mind's demands for sense enjoyment?

Ans: Indulging in sense enjoyment may provide temporary pleasure, but it ultimately reinforces ignorance and binds the soul further to material nature. This leads to a cycle of craving and dissatisfaction, perpetuating spiritual stagnation and suffering.

Q: How can I strengthen my resolve to resist the mind's temptations?

Ans: By understanding the consequences of indulgence versus restraint, one can develop the discernment needed to make wise choices. Tolerating the mind's disturbances with patience and determination allows for spiritual growth and eventual liberation from its grip.

Q: Is there a difference between the immediate pleasure of sense enjoyment and the lasting fulfillment of spiritual practice?

Ans: Yes, while sense enjoyment may offer immediate gratification, it ultimately leads to suffering and disillusionment. In contrast, spiritual practice may initially seem challenging or tasteless, but it ultimately leads to lasting happiness and inner peace, transcending the fleeting pleasures of the material world.

Q: How can I navigate the inner conflict between spiritual aspirations and worldly desires?

Ans: By cultivating self-awareness, seeking guidance from spiritual teachings, and trusting in the transformative power of divine grace, one can gradually overcome the mind's tricks and align with the path of spiritual progress and enlightenment.
